FLAME is a ministry of Sheridan Lutheran Church that intends to live Faith in Love & Action through Ministry and Encouragement.
Large Group High School Youth Group
Meets Sunday nights (mid-August-May; 6:30-8pm) in the The Great Room (end room of the new space). During this time together we will focus on worship, fellowship and community with each other. All high school students and their friends are welcome.
Who does it serve or who is the intended audience?
FLAME serves all students in 9th-12th grade and their families.
Why should I be involved?
For Students: Being part of a faith community is crucial to faith development. The opportunities for faith discussion and exploration keeps our students connected to their faith while allowing them to make their own faith decisions.
For Adults: Caring adults help foster good faith role models as well as provide someone students can confide in and get to know in their family of faith.
How to get involved?
For Students: Just show up!
For Adults: Contact Amy for a brief interview and get to know you, and we can go from there.
Who to contact to get involved or more information?

When & where it happens.
Youth Group usually happens Sunday evenings at 6:30pm in the Great Room (located on the Northwest side of the property). Youth can be dropped off/park on the north west side of the building. Right off the Old Cheney parking lot entrance.
What can I expect?
Expect each week to be different. With the busy lifestyles of today’s teens, we like to keep things interesting. The Great Room opens at 6pm for informal fellowship and game/snack time, official program starts at 6:30.We are an informal and loving group. We try to rotate between different styles of activities throughout the month (each of the Sundays will focus on one of the following: Service, Bible Study/Discussion, Worship and Fellowship. If there are five Sundays in a month, the youth choose the focus for that week).
